Apply for Child Support Assessment

Apply to Services Australia (Child Support) to assess how much child support one parent must pay to the other after separation. The assessment uses both parents' adjusted taxable income, the children's ages, the percentage of care each parent provides and the children's self-support amount. Once assessed, payments can be private (parents pay each other directly) or collected by Services Australia.
