Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) — Request a Volunteer Visitor or Become One
ACVVS (formerly the Community Visitors Scheme) matches volunteer visitors with older Australians who feel socially isolated and receive government-subsidised residential aged care or a Support at Home package — including people approved or on the National Priority System for residential care or Support at Home. Regular visits help improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Volunteer visiting is a free service.
