ACMA EME / RF Site Compliance Assessment
Operators of fixed radio transmitters (mobile base stations, microwave links, broadcast towers) must do an EME / RF compliance assessment before energising the site to confirm public RF exposure stays under the ARPANSA RPS S-1 limits. Assessments are done by an ACMA Accredited Person (RF engineer); results are kept on file and submitted to ACMA via the Radiocommunications Devices (Compliance Labelling) framework.
