ACMA Amateur Radio Operator Certificate (Foundation / Standard / Advanced)
You need an Amateur Radio Operator Certificate of Proficiency (Foundation, Standard or Advanced) before you can transmit on the amateur bands. ACMA owns the qualification standard but the exams are delivered by the WIA. Once you pass, you apply to ACMA for a callsign on a class licence (no per-person fee).
