Form number: CWS — IIW International Welding Specialist (IWS) equivalent
Certified Welding Supervisor (CWS) is Weld Australia's nationally recognised supervisor qualification — equivalent to IIW International Welding Specialist (IWS). Required by AS/NZS 1554.1 Section 4.12 (mandatory for SP category) and AS 3992. Authorises you to write WPSs, supervise production welding, sign WIRs and own the welder qualification register on a project.
