Under the Private Security Act 2004 (Vic), cash-in-transit work is performed under the "armed guard" (Activity 4) endorsement on a Private Security Individual Operator (PSIO) licence. The PSIO must also hold a Category H Handgun Licence with a CIT genuine reason from the Victoria Police Licensing & Regulation Division.
