Underwater / Wet Welding — Commercial Diver Welder Qualification

Wet welding qualification combines a commercial diving certificate with a welder qualification specifically for underwater work — used on offshore platform repairs, jetty pile splicing, ship hull patches and dam outlet works. Welds are run with insulated waterproof SMAW electrodes (E6013-style for Class B repair, with stricter Class A also possible).
