Specialist registration in Orthodontics is one of 13 dental specialities approved by the Ministerial Council and listed on the Dental Board of Australia register. Required to use the protected title "specialist orthodontist". You must already hold general dentist registration and complete a 3-year Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Orthodontics) — DClinDent — at an ADC-accredited Australian or New Zealand university, or qualify via the Qualification Equivalence Pathway if trained overseas.
