The NSW Shotfirer Practising Certificate is issued by the NSW Resources Regulator under the Work Health and Safety (Mines and Petroleum Sites) Regulation 2022. It authorises shotfiring at NSW metalliferous, extractive and coal mines. NSW issues separate endorsements for surface and underground and has a specific coal endorsement that is the most stringent in the country.
