The Rural Financial Counselling Service is a free, independent, confidential service for farmers, fishers, foresters and small related agribusinesses experiencing or at risk of financial hardship. RFCS counsellors do not give legal or financial advice but help you map cash flow, talk to your bank, complete RIC / FHA applications and negotiate with creditors. Used early, it is the single highest-leverage form a struggling farm operator can fill out.
