SCUBA cylinders (recreational compressed-air diving) test on a different cycle to industrial cylinders — AS 2030.5 requires annual visual inspection (in-service inspection) and hydrostatic re-test every 12 months for aluminium 6351-T6 alloy / every 5 years for newer aluminium and steel. No fill station will fill an out-of-test cylinder.
