Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card
National competency-management card required to work on the rail network. The RIW system is owned by the Australasian Railway Association (ARA) and endorsed by its members; the electronic record captures a worker's health, training and competency information. By law every person working on a rail network must hold and carry a valid RIW card proving their track-access accreditation level.
