NSW Coronial Inquest — Request to Coroner
NSW
A Coronial Inquest is a public inquiry into the cause and manner of death. In NSW, the Coroner must investigate "reportable deaths" (sudden, violent, in custody, in care, etc.) and may hold an inquest. Family can request an inquest into a death already reported.
