NSW Apprehended Domestic Violence Order (ADVO)
An ADVO is a court order that protects you from a person you have or had a domestic relationship with — partner, ex-partner, family member, carer, or someone you live with. It can stop them contacting, approaching, or coming near you, your home, or your work. Breach is a criminal offence.
