NHVAS Maintenance Management is one of three national accreditation modules under the NHVAS — operators meeting the maintenance standards gain regulatory recognition that they manage roadworthiness systematically. Often a precondition for Higher Mass Limits (HML) access. Note: from 1 August 2026 the NHVR will no longer have authority to grant any new NHVAS accreditation — new applicants use the Heavy Vehicle Accreditation (HVA) scheme under the updated HVNL.
