Medicine Wholesaler Licence

QLD

Wholesale supply of medicines in Queensland is regulated under the Medicines and Poisons Act 2019 (Qld), alongside Commonwealth requirements (Therapeutic Goods Act 1989, Narcotic Drugs Act 1967, AgVet Code). A place where medicine is stored for wholesale supply must have a substance management plan (SMP). Some Commonwealth-authorised suppliers may not require a separate Queensland wholesale licence.
