Marine refrigeration covers shipboard provision rooms, fish hold refrigeration, RSW (refrigerated sea water) systems on tuna and prawn boats, and HVAC plant on cruise / commercial vessels. Technicians need an ARCtick Full RAC RHL plus marine-specific qualifications, and any work performed at sea or affecting safety equipment may require AMSA-recognised competencies.
