ACT — Mental Health Order (Psychiatric Treatment Order)
ACT
In the ACT, involuntary assessment and treatment is done through Mental Health Orders made by the ACT Civil and Administrative Tribunal under the Mental Health Act 2015 (ACT). An Emergency Detention Order can be made first by a doctor or authorised mental health professional pending the ACAT hearing.
