The Credentialed Mental Health Nurse (CMHN) credential is awarded by ACMHN to registered nurses with specialist mental health qualifications and experience. CMHN status unlocks Medicare Better Access — Mental Health Nurse Incentive Program (MHNIP) and is required by many community mental health team contracts.
