ACMA Aircraft Station Licence (AROC / Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate)
If you want to use the radio in an aircraft, you need an Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (AROC) and the aircraft itself needs an Aircraft Station Licence from ACMA. AROC is mandatory for all pilots flying in controlled airspace; the aircraft station licence is held by the registered operator.
