ABN / GST registration — primary producer (ATO)
Form number: ABN + GST registration (online via ABR / ATO Online)
Every commercial farm needs an Australian Business Number (ABN). GST registration is compulsory if your annual turnover is $75,000 or more (or you have voluntary cash-flow reasons to register below that). Primary producers benefit from quarterly or annual BAS lodgement and several primary-producer GST concessions.
