Western Australia does not currently issue a separate trade licence for refrigeration mechanics — the trade is regulated through the federal ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence and, for any electrical wiring work, a WA Electrician's Licence (issued by Building and Energy / DEMIRS). Plumbing-side work is also regulated by the Plumbers Licensing Board of WA where applicable.
